Pick Your Own from Boxing Day 2010!
We are now closed for the 2009/10 fruit season and will reopen in December 2010 God willing.

We  had a great crop of apples and stone fruit up until early February 2010 when the hail and then the fruit bats moved in taking a big % of the remaining apples not only on our orchard but across the district. Losses for the district are unprecedented with hundreds of tonnes of fruit lost.

We managed to stay open until the end of April but unfortunately customers planning a visit in May were disappointed. We are sorry about that but we had no fruit left on the trees. We hope God willing to reopen in mid December when the peaches start but there is a lot of pruning to do before then. We are hoping to slowly start netting parts of the orchard to address the fruit bat problem.

Hope you can make it next season. There is no entry charge. Just pay for what you pick. Toilets and picnic facilities are available.

Enjoy a day out with your family picking your own fruit, strolling through the fruit trees and appreciating the adjoining Australian bush. If you plan to come in a big group we suggest you ring first so we can plan to maximise your enjoyment. Click on "NEWS" for the latest info.

We also sell homemade Jams including Apricot, nectarine and traditional Plum Jam. The Shed also stocks local honey and nuts (when in season).

Remember the Bilpin Markets are on each Saturday morning at the Bilpin Community Hall from 10am till 12pm for sales of fresh local veges, plants and local crafts .

So why not make a day of it and come to Pine Crest Orchard to experience all nature has to offer - straight from the trees into your hand.
