Pine Crest Orchard has replaced plastic bags with woven carry bags to protect the surrounding wildlife. 

These incur a charge of 50 cents a bag to partly cover their cost. You are free to bring your own bags to pick into or to transfer fruit into and return the bag but we are trying to avoid the problem that has been obvious of plastic bags blowing around the orchard and surrounding bush and impacting on wildlife.
